As clinker paving is made of clay and fired at high temperatures (around 1100°C), slight colour variations are possible within and between production batches. We recommend mixing the paving from several pallets when laying to achieve a uniform appearance. If the shade does not match your expectations, please inform us before paving so that we can find the best solution in time.

If the paving is laid outdoors, no additional maintenance or treatment is required. Thanks to its homogeneous structure and production technology, clinker paving has high strength, does not fade, does not react with acids and is not susceptible to oil stains. Clinker paving will last for centuries. To reduce water absorption and facilitate maintenance, Remmers Fassadencreme clinker oil can be used.

This way, the paving stones will not press on each other under load and will be protected against chipping of corners and edges. Spacers placed between the pavers, as in this case, can be used to help maintain this spacing, but if sufficient skill is available, spacing can be done by eye without the use of spacers.

Pavement can be collected within one month of payment. If for any reason you need to collect it later, please contact your paving sales specialist.

Most of the products of LODE Ltd. are available immediately – after payment, the pavement can be collected the same day by coming to the factory in Liepa. “Patoka paving can take up to two weeks to arrive, depending on whether the product is available locally in Liepa or if delivery from Poland is required.

Delivery within Latvia costs €1.30/km + VAT. We deliver the paving from the LODE Ltd. production plant in Liepa, Cesis region, and the delivery fee is calculated both ways. The unloading fee is 50 euros + VAT. Collection at the LODE factory in Liepa – free of charge.

When choosing the thickness of clinker paving, it is important to understand what the pavement will be used for and what the pavement load will be:

• 4-5 cm thick pavement will be suitable for pedestrian routes
• For private car yards: 5-6 cm
• For lightly trafficked pavements with infrequent traffic: 6-7 cm
• Heavy traffic requires a pavement thickness of 8-10 cm
