Last year’s largest KERATERM cooperation project in Latvia – the new residential project “Magnolijas” by real estate developer “Merks mājas”. Pardaugava, which was created with the well-being of people and improvement of the quality of life as its guiding principle.
In the picturesque Champeterre district, in a cosy residential area, two three-storey buildings with 96 apartments have been built with our KERATERM building blocks. The apartments are spacious, bright and located in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature, keeping in touch with the rhythm of the city.
In justifying their choice to use our building materials in the new project, Merks mājas representatives say, “KERATERM building blocks retain heat well, are load-bearing, natural, breathable and long-lasting. Looking to the future, these qualities will allow future residents of Merks Magnolia to save energy resources and reduce everyday running costs.” It is worth mentioning that this is the first project by the developer to install solar panels and solar collectors on the roofs of residential buildings, which will reduce the CO2 footprint of the buildings and provide residents with lower electricity and water heating bills in the long term.
We are really happy and satisfied to be present in new residential projects where the focus is on people’s well-being, smart resource saving and where high quality products made in Latvia are chosen.
