Vanadzi\u0146\u0161 House got its name during the first period of independence, when the 18th-century wooden architectural gem was managed by Dr. K\u0101rlis Vanadzi\u0146\u0161, who was also the town’s head from 1922 to 1933. During the war, Vanadzi\u0146\u0161 emigrated to Sweden, but the residents of C\u0113sis continued to refer to the building at 15 R\u012bgas Street as Vanadzi\u0146\u0161 House. Over time, the house fell into disrepair and was demolished, leaving only the entrance steps. Vanadzi\u0146\u0161 House experienced a revival thanks to three enthusiasts, the co-owners of the furniture company Wenden Furniture. From just a few steps, it was reborn as an architectural monument of national significance, now hosting a restaurant and apartments.<\/p>\n\n
