Lode history has started more than 50 years ago and all those years the company has been producing goods utilizing the local Latvian clay. For centuries it has been stored under Latvian meadows. Clay is natural. From ancient times we have known ceramic pots, ceramic bowls, and ceramic tiles. And ceramic bricks that have been shaped, dried, and baked. As a result they have obtained strength to last through centuries.
We work for natural, well arranged and harmonious environment. We prefer self baked brown bread, dill in our kitchen garden, old rural bathhouse, a pond alive with fish and a house built of bricks – a durable and a nice one.
Our children, the next generation, are our greatest value. We wish to give them the best we have – a good home. The home they would always wish to return to. LODE
